Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CharPix. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use CharPix.

The service

CharPix generates images from text descriptions, and can keep a character's face consistent across images by using a base portrait you choose as reference. The service is provided "as is" — we work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every generated image will match your expectations.

Accounts

You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use CharPix.

Credits and payments

• New accounts receive free starter credits. Paid credits are sold in one-time packs — there is no subscription and no recurring billing.
• Each image generation consumes credits as shown in the app before you confirm.
• Credits never expire and are non-transferable between accounts.
• Payments are processed by PayPal. Prices are in USD.
• Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Your content and your images

You own the images you generate. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes. You retain all rights to the character descriptions and prompts you write. We claim no ownership over your content — we only store and process it to provide the service to you.

Because generation is provided by third-party AI models, similar images may occasionally be generated for other users from similar prompts; this doesn't affect your rights to your own images.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use CharPix to create or attempt to create:

• Sexual or sexually suggestive content involving minors, in any form. This is an absolute prohibition and violations are reported to authorities.
• Realistic images of real, identifiable people without their consent — including deepfakes, whether sexual or not.
• Content intended to harass, defame, or deceive (e.g., fake evidence, impersonation).
• Content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours.

You also agree not to abuse the service technically: no scraping, no attempting to reverse credit transactions, no sharing accounts, and no automated generation outside the provided interface. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules; credits tied to accounts terminated for abuse are forfeited.

Intellectual property

The CharPix name, logo, and site design are ours. If your character is based on someone else's copyrighted work, you are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CharPix is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill). Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you paid nothing.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be noted on this page. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
